9 Types of Play with Baby

Experience Baby includes 9 types of play with a baby. Each card offers a new idea for how to play with an infant to inspire communication, movement, or exploration. You can use the ideas naturally throughout the day when the child plays on the floor, during diaper changes, or outside on a walk.

Learning should happen naturally all day long. Let the child’s interest and engagement guide your process. Each activity card is color-coded.

  • Purple experiences invite infants to Connect and Communicate
  • Orange experiences invite infants to Move and Grow
  • Green experiences invite infants to Play and Explore
