Math Story Cards
Preschoolers practice critical thinking, listening, and math skills when they listen to math story problems and use the duck manipulatives to solve them. Math Story Cards are included in the Pond Life Experience Preschool kit.
Building Letters Loose Parts
Using the Loose Letter Cards, nature items such as sticks and the duck manipulatives, preschoolers for letters either using the cards as a template or separately on the table.
Floating Ducks Counting
Try using the duck manipulatives to float ducks on small paper plates in a water sensory bin. Roll a die and count the number of ducks to float on the paper plate “lily pads”.
Ducks in Muck Sensory Play
Create a fun sensory play experience by combining cornstarch, water and a brown paint (liquid water color or tempera). Preschoolers will love playing with “ducks in the muck!”
Count and Create Duck Families
